Questions people actually ask
Can I really put these addresses on my website?
Yes. That is the main reason people buy it. Website, invoices, proposals, email signature, business cards and marketing material are all fine. What you cannot do is present it as a registered office or use it for bank onboarding.
How fast do I get the addresses?
Live within 48 hours in most cases. You pay first, we verify your identity straight after, and the addresses activate once that clears. If verification fails you are refunded in full.
Is this legal?
Using a correspondence address for trading and marketing purposes is normal commercial practice. What is not permitted is using it to hide a taxable presence, or presenting it as a registered office. Our terms set out both, and if your situation actually needs an entity we will tell you rather than sell you a subscription.
What happens to my post?
The envelope is photographed the working day it arrives and appears in your account. Nothing is opened unless you press the button. You can have items scanned, forwarded, held or shredded — postage at cost, never marked up.
What if I want to incorporate later?
Tell us and we start. Seven working days is the target in most jurisdictions, and everything you have paid on Footprint comes off the incorporation fee — up to the full amount.
Will a bank accept it?
Assume not. Banks run their own checks on correspondence addresses and most reject them at onboarding. Use your own trading address for anything involving identity verification. If you need a bankable presence, that means an entity.
Can I cancel?
Full refund within 30 days. After that it runs to the end of the term you paid for. We will forward or shred anything still held, on your instruction, before we close the box.
